For iPhone, iPad, Mac & Android

Your encrypted drive, native on every device.

You're already running Hoodik. The native apps connect to your own server and add what a browser tab can't: offline access to your encrypted files, instant switching between your servers and accounts, a fully native experience, and, on Mac, a way to let an AI agent work with your files without ever handing over your keys. Same files, same end-to-end encryption; the web app already does everything else.

The apps are free. They talk only to your server. There is no Hoodik account in the middle.

What the apps add

The web interface that ships with your server is free and does everything. The apps are for what a browser tab can't do as well, or on a Mac can't do at all.

Offline, still encrypted

Pin files for offline access. They're cached as the same encrypted chunks the server holds (never written to your device in plaintext) and decrypted one chunk at a time, so a 4 GB video opens without loading 4 GB into memory.

Native, with instant switching

A real native app: smooth navigation, instant file preview, biometric and PIN unlock, and background transfers that survive the app being suspended. Connect every Hoodik server you run and switch between accounts in a tap, no logging out and back in.

AI access on Mac

The Mac app runs a built-in MCP server so Claude, or any AI agent, can read and write your files. The agent sees plaintext; your server never does; your keys never leave the Mac. Read how it works →

Everything in the apps

Encrypted file browser: upload, download, move, rename, with chunked concurrent transfers and per-chunk integrity checks.

Privacy-preserving search: your query is tokenized and hashed before it ever reaches the network. The server matches hashes, not words.

Public link sharing: create, list, and revoke expiring links; the file key travels in the URL fragment, never to the server.

Multi-server & multi-account: connect every Hoodik server you run and switch between accounts instantly.

Biometric & PIN unlock: Face ID / Touch ID, with the PIN stored in the platform keychain and auto-lock on backgrounding.

Native file preview: images, video, PDFs, and documents, decrypted on the device.

Privacy shield: on iOS and Android, content is blurred the moment the app loses focus, so nothing leaks into the app switcher.

Admin from your pocket: manage users, invitations, and server settings when you're the admin.

Encrypted end to end: the whole point

The same Rust cryptography runs in the web app, the mobile apps, and the Mac app. One open, auditable codebase, no JavaScript crypto. File keys are wrapped with a hybrid X25519 + ML-KEM-768 exchange (post-quantum), and login uses OPAQUE, so your password never leaves your device either. What stays encrypted on your device, before anything is sent: file contents, file names, thumbnails, your notes, and even your search terms. Your private key is decrypted in memory only and never written to disk in the clear.
